Field-Proven Results

The NN-Vitalperformer® Difference

The performance of NN-Vitalperformer® has been documented in real-world agricultural settings.

Below are the detailed results from two separate field studies on laying hen breeds, demonstrating significant
and repeatable improvements in key performance indicators.

  • Up to 31% Higher Final Weight

In a 41-day study, the Vitalperformer group achieved a final weight of 2.35 kg compared to 1.79 kg in the control group.

  • 4x Lower Mortality Rate

The Vitalperformer group had a loss rate of just 2%, while the control group had a loss rate of 8%.

  • Cannibalism Eliminated

In both studies, cannibalism was no longer observed starting from day 5 of using NN-Vitalperformer®.

Case Study 2:

25% Increase in Slaughter Weight

Summary of Results:

  • Slaughter Weight: The VP group was ~25% heavier than the control group. (2.74 kg vs. 2.21 kg)
  • Mortality Rate: The control group's loss rate was 30% higher than the VP group's. (20% vs. 14%)
  • Feed: Both groups received the same amount of daily and total feed.

Key Observations:

  • No Cannibalism: No cannibalism was observed from day 5 in the VP group.
  • Improved Feathering: Feathering was much better from day 8.
  • Improved Digestion: Intestinal function was much better, resulting in firm stools and significantly cleaner litter.

Case Study 1:

31% Increase in Final Weight

Summary of Results:

  • Final Weight: The VP group was ~31% heavier than the control group. (2.35 kg vs. 1.79 kg)
  • Mortality Rate: The control group's loss rate was 4 times higher than the VP group's. (8% vs. 2%)
  • Feed: Both groups received the same amount of daily feed (130g) and total feed (5330g).

Key Observations:

  • No Cannibalism: Cannibalism was eliminated from day 5 onwards in the Vitalperformer group.
  • Improved Feathering: Better feathering was observed from day 8.
  • Better Digestion: The litter in the VP group area was significantly cleaner ("fast bei 0" / almost at 0), indicating better digestion compared to the normal litter in the control group.
